We have also been made aware of OTHER EXTRA FUNDING SOURCES as follows:

Sport england Crowdfunding - check out their Website

Two funds are Places and Spaces which links to the CWG legacy and facility development and improvement.  We have a short video from a recent project now on our webpage explaining how Places and Spaces helped them. We also have a recent case study from another West Mids based charity who successfully crowdfunded with us, read their story here.

They also have Active Together, which was originally our covid recovery fund but this can also support fundraising efforts whereby the need is driven by energy crisis, cost of living crisis, emergency e.g. storm relief, vandalism etc So please do refer any groups/clubs/organisations you work with to consider these options when asking around funding.

Why Crowdfund?

Here’s just a few reasons…

  • 600+ campaigns supported
  • £3m+ invested by Sport England
  • Additional £5.8m raised by supporters
  • Average of £16k raised by each campaign

Support

We have a range of support to help people use and benefit from Crowdfunder, we know this is a new way of raising funds, so we’re here to help support from pre campaign, during and post campaign.

We host 45 minute monthly webinars with Crowdfunder, these are free to attend and if you cannot attend the time, if you have registered, they will send you a link to watch it back afterwards.      You can alternatively view previous webinars, please click here. These webinars offer a great introduction to Crowdfunder which guidance on what it is, how our extra funding works and to hear from a past project. There is also an opportunity to ask questions. These webinars are ideal to promote to any clubs, or groups who may want to hear & learn more.

1-2-1         Coaching is available with one of the Crowdfunder team and there is a full help centre resource that can also help you along the way.
