GoPlayNetball

The GoPlayNetall.com project brings and exciting timetable of programmes being delivered in the South & South West Regions of the UK.

The project is jointly funded by Sport England and Nintendo Wii Fit and the delivery partners for the programme are Diamond Sports Events who are working in close partnership with England Netball to ensure that the programmes are delivered by the very best staff and promoted nationally helping to raise the profile of the sport.

The project will be delivered in the South & South West regions of the UK, specifically in 5 target regions:
· Hampshire
· Sussex
· Dorset
· Avon
· Wiltshire

GoPlayNetball.com – 4 KEY OBJECTIVES
· Increase regular participation in netball
· Enable young girls to access 5 hours of sport per week
· Sustain current participation in netball, in particular 16-18 yrs
· Developing and accelerating talented netball players

The project is split into the following 7 programmes:

· GO BACK TO NETBALL
· STREET NETBALL

Start Netball

Start Netball is an introduction programme for schools to High 5 Netball. High 5 provides a link between First Step Netball and full 7-aside-rules and is played by both girls and boys.

The Start Netball programme provides a 3 hour workshop and includes a starter pack which includes:

• Coaching Manual
• Coaching DVD
• High 5 bibs
• High 5 ball
• GoPlayNetball.com T-shirts
