Margaret Whittaker

It is with great sadness that Netball South have learned of the death of Margaret Whittaker on Monday 5 April 2010. Margaret has been well known to most of the netball community in Hampshire, South Region and further afield since she started Applemore Netball Club over 40 years ago. Margaret received an England Netball Long Service award and has been a valued member of the Netball South Regional Management Board. Her passion for netball has influenced so many people and she will be greatly missed. Netball South would like to send deepest sympathy to Margaret's family.
