Kingsmead Netball Centre were hosts on Saturday, October 6th to the Regional Round of the Clubs U19 Championships. The weather held good and everyone enjoyed the day.
9 teams from 6 of the Regions' Counties entered the competition with only IOW and Guernsey clubs missing.
Although the tournament threw up a varied degree of skill within the clubs - all the games were hard fought with the lower placing of the clubs only losing out in many games by one or two goals.
EAGLES (Berks) emerged outright winners of the Round Robin with WESTON BLADES in second place.
Congratulations to these two teams who will now go forward to the National U19 Clubs Championships being held at Sir David English Centre in Bournemouth on November 3rd.
Our thanks go to the workforce for the day - Umpires who officiated on the day - led by Yvonne Jamison (Umpire Co-ordinator) Scorers/Timekeepers & Tournament Referees - and also South Bucks C.N.A for allowing us to use their facilities and providing refreshments.
